BEGIN REVERSE AGING WITH LIGHT, WATER & MAGNETISM
Share
I have always disliked the term "anti-aging" because it connotes the idea that one is against aging.. when, actually that is the progression of life. We all age, but at what speed. There are many factors that promote the aging process as well as those things we can do to actually reverse age. By utilizing the health of our mitochondria while getting rid of dysfunctional mitochondria, we are actually aging in reverse. Here are just a few examples of how we can reverse the aging process...
- Utilize our light environment - sunrise for red/infrared light, uva light to balance hormones, uvb for vitamin d to release nitric oxide which increases blood flow.
- Honor our dark environment - low lights after sunset; block blue light with blue blocking glasses; keep your environment dark.
- Utilize magnetism - grounding without shoes to gather electrons, swimming in the ocean and connecting to the earth in general.
- Move our bodies outside in full spectrum sunlight.
- Eat seasonally and incorporate DHA often.
- Limit blue light from devices as blue light raises blood glucose, increases the risk of diabetes and lowers dopamine levels that make us controllable.
The best way to assess aging is to look at mitochondrial heteroplasmy. Heteroplasmy is the presence of more than one type of mitochondrial DNA in a cell. Life uses the sun to tell cellular time. Mitochondria become dysfunctional as the Circadian Clock is impaired causing a decline in energy production in the cell. This eventually leads to chronic disease. By getting rid of dysfunctional mitochondria through mitophagy (which is the mechanism by which a cell destroys itself) and maintaining healthy mitochondria by following the bullet points listed above, we can begin to reverse the aging process.
When we align with these natural elements, we unlock the body’s innate ability to regenerate, restore, and thrive—proving that aging is more about environment than genetics. While focusing on our mitochondrial health, we can stay healthy and age the way nature intended us to.
