When Routines Evolve: Why I Started Cleansing My Face with Oils
Share
If you know me, you know how much I love a good, natural bar of soap. For years, I’ve proudly created beautiful soaps that nurture the skin — and I still do. But lately, my personal skincare journey has led me somewhere unexpected: oil cleansing.
I’ll be honest — I never thought I’d cleanse my face with oils. I assumed they wouldn’t actually clean my skin or remove makeup effectively. But curiosity got the best of me, and I gave it a try.
Now? I’m completely hooked.
Each night, I simply massage a few drops of one of my botanical elixirs or serums into my skin and gently remove it with a warm washcloth. Not only does it lift away makeup and impurities, but the process also gives me a natural, gentle exfoliation depending on the pressure I use with the cloth. It feels nourishing, calming, and deeply effective — a small ritual I look forward to.
I still love and believe in the power of a great natural soap. But skincare, like life, is always evolving. What once worked beautifully can make space for new habits that feel even more aligned.
My soaps remain a cornerstone of AZ Naturally, offering a wonderful way to cleanse and care for the skin. And for those who feel called, oil cleansing is another path to soft, vibrant, healthy skin.
Sometimes, change is exactly what our skin (and spirit) needs.
Here’s to trusting the journey — one gentle cleanse at a time.
