As 2026 approaches, we welcome the Year of the Horse... from February 17th until February 5th, 2027... a year that calls us to move with strength, freedom, and authenticity.
In Chinese astrology, the Horse represents vitality, independence, passion and movement. Horses are known for their boundless energy and natural drive. They run toward open spaces, not away from them.
This particular Horse year is a Fire Horse year which brings an added spark of courage, creativity, and transformation. It’s an invitation to ignite what’s been dormant and to move boldly toward what feels alive and meaningful.
Many of us go through life on autopilot... racing through schedules, chasing goals, or simply trying to keep up. But the true spirit of the Horse isn’t about speed; it’s about aligned movement ~ running when the energy is right, resting when the body asks for pause, and living in rhythm with our natural cycles.
This is where circadian living becomes so important. When we begin to honor the daily rise and fall of light, our body finds its rhythm again. Morning light wakes our energy. Evening darkness restores it. Each sunrise and sunset gives us an opportunity to reset, to return to balance, and to move forward naturally.
This year is about passion and purpose. Give your energy to what feels meaningful, not what’s expected. Just as the Horse needs time to graze and recover, your body needs darkness, calm, and true rest. Honor the quiet hours of night as sacred time for repair and renewal.
As you enter this new year, take a moment to think about: 1) what feels ready to move forward in your life? 2) where can you create more freedom and flow? 3) how can you live in greater alignment with yourself and with nature?
The Year of the Horse is your invitation to move with intention, not urgency... to gallop toward joy but also to pause and feel the earth beneath your feet.
May this year bring you renewed energy, strength, and the confidence to move in harmony with your own rhythm and the rhythm of nature.
